Tania Stenbeck has been an artist all her life. She has always been creative and explored different ways to express her creativity. "The bug" for photography started early on in her life. She is largely self taught, but has also taken some formal photographic training and is always learning new things to add to her trade.
Tania grew up in Barrhead, Alberta on a farm. She often could be found drawing, taking pictures and, of course, caring for animals. Her family spent quite a bit of time camping and being outdoors.
Tania believes that the best photographs are not usually studio based ones. The photographs that are taken with spontaneity (even planned spontaneity!) are the most precious. When she started looking for her niche in photography, she realized there didn't seem to be many photographers in the area who specialized in photographing pets.
